Just got back from a cruise, no, “no Cabin In The Woods”, just a big ship, with too many self-absorbed people on it. While observing the ocean and how calm it made me feel (I probably would not be so calm in high seas), an idea of buying an old cruise ship (if I had the means) occurred to me and using it as my “cabin in the seas”. I’d just sail around the world all the time and go from port to port when I choose to. I could have minimal contact with the outside world, other than the crew and just disappear into the oceans. After all they do cover 70% of the world’s surface. I’d be the “The Old Hermit Of The Seven Seas”! But it has to be a cruise ship; I get sea sick in yachts. It’s a concept, thou being a land lover; I’d probably miss the bears.
