Still

I saw a product that stated it was “More Natural”, than what?  A pile of sh*t can be considered “More Natural”, but it’s still sh*t.  Plus there are plenty of things in nature that can kill you.  So a product simply being natural is kind of irrelevant, no matter how much more it is.

Never Hade

At one point I was cleaning a health spa for extra money.  I was there a while when they hired a new personal trainer that I had happened to have gone to high school with.  Back in high school he probably considered himself higher on the pecking order than me, and since he was at the bottom here, he thought he could boss me around.  Well no, problem was, I didn’t work for this health spa, but rather an outside contractor.  They were real surprised when their boss yelled at them, because my boss yelled at their boss, for him interfering with my work.  He discovered that his perceived status in high school didn’t matter to me then, nor did he have it now or ever.

Really?

Back in college I volunteered for the schools EMS since I was there anyway.  At one point we needed gauze, so we put the request through the schools purchasing department and they put it out to bid.  When we received the winning bids supply of gauze, it was not white, but flesh color.  It looked like we were using dirty gauze.  I think that supplier just dumped it on the school, since who else would ever buy it?

Perhaps

When people sneeze the standard response is “bless you”.  Well I’m considering a new approach and instead say, “dam you to hell”.  Perhaps this is a bit extreme, but it would get people’s attention, and then perhaps it will spark an interesting conversation.

Not Far Enough

I am currently hanging out in a hammock in the woods and while this is really nice, I can still hear the constant hum of traffic from the expressway in the background.  So this is not a place for my Cabin In The Woods, to close to civilization.  Plus that chainsaw in the distance is really killing my buzz.

Ha Ha

When I was a mere teenager, one of my friends grandfather purposely looked a lot like Santa Clause.  One of his favorite things to do was to go to church on Christmas Eve dressed in a red jacket and sit right up front so all the children could see him.  I’m sure that got a lot of children thinking about that naughty and nice list and wondering whether Santa was checking up on them.
