Anyone can say they can do it, but will they do it well enough to be of use?  I can say I can fix the toilet, but it may take me days to do so, is that helpful?

When your own words convict you, you have said too much. 

I once knew this person who knew that their employer was planning to do layoffs and they stated they didn’t have to worry since what they did for their employer no one else did and they were indispensable.  Two weeks later they found out they were dispensable.

Something is said as a fact, but the real question is, what is the source of this fact, is it reliable or is it just some more bullshit spun to fit a narrative.  Please don’t expect me to just take your word for it.

My employer keeps harping on us to work as a team every chance they get, however from their vibe, we’re not a team, rather, a group of individuals going our own way.

I’m slowly creating a new normal since the old normal is gone.

There’s no absolutes in opinion, there’s always wiggle room.

I awoke to being woke and then I rolled over and went back to sleep.

I’m hanging in there which is better that hanging out there.

Early to bed, early to raise is ok as long as I get a nap in between.

I just got to say that if I’m the only “normal” person here, then we’re all fucked.

You never know when stupid is going to erupt, that’s why you need to keep your situational awareness going.

I slept like a baby and now I have to change the sheets.

It’s said; “it’s easier to never mind what I never knew”, but if I knew it, would I mind it?

What’s the best labor saving device?  Hiring someone else to do it.

They managed to talk themselves out of a successful career, so by all means, let’s just follow them over that cliff.

If my whole life is based around the next time I can go back to bed, is that good?  Maybe go to my Cabin In The Woods to reenergize?
