When your own words convict you, you have said too much. 

I once knew this person who knew that their employer was planning to do layoffs and they stated they didn’t have to worry since what they did for their employer no one else did and they were indispensable.  Two weeks later they found out they were dispensable.

Something is said as a fact, but the real question is, what is the source of this fact, is it reliable or is it just some more bullshit spun to fit a narrative.  Please don’t expect me to just take your word for it.

Really, you’re still focused on that?  Well, that’s a huge waste of time.

The person is adjusted, but I’ll never use the word well. 

My employer keeps harping on us to work as a team every chance they get, however from their vibe, we’re not a team, rather, a group of individuals going our own way.

I can do anything I put my mind too, now whether I’m any good at it is a whole different discussion.  Let’s discuss that at my Cabin In The Woods.

My blog is still here, but am I?  Nope, I’m just an avatar.  We reduced the publishing to three days a week recently since we were running out of things to say, but that has improved as of late.  So in the world of the Would Be Hermit, what the fuck is happening!  That being said, we’re still doing this blog, perhaps it’s our shelter from the storm?

I’m slowly creating a new normal since the old normal is gone.

When you preach the use of violence, you shouldn’t be surprised when violence comes to pay you a visit.

I had to awaken some long dormant brain cells today and yeah, it hurt.

I’m occupying it right now, so it’s mine, tomorrow you may occupy it, so then it’ll be yours and that’s how it goes.

It’s nice to think about what was, but, it’s better to focus on what is.

If a bad thing only happens once, it could be written off as, shit happens, but when it keeps recurring, now we have a problem Houston.

It was their dream and no one else’s so it shouldn’t be a surprise when no one else chose to join them.

I keep misspelling the word complte, what kind of brain fart is this?  I keep abbreviating the word, I shouldn’t.

There’s no absolutes in opinion, there’s always wiggle room.

I awoke to being woke and then I rolled over and went back to sleep.

I’m hanging in there which is better that hanging out there.

Early to bed, early to raise is ok as long as I get a nap in between.

I just got to say that if I’m the only “normal” person here, then we’re all fucked.

You never know when stupid is going to erupt, that’s why you need to keep your situational awareness going.

I’m not married to my job.  I’m married to my wife.  I’m not a polygamist.  But I do want to live in a Cabin In The Woods.

Unnecessarily honking your horn in traffic is just an expression of your personality and it shows you’re a dick.

They ruined my nice relaxing camping trip just because I was being a dick to everyone around me and making all sorts of noise until five in the morning when I passed out.

The plan is to set it up with limits and then try to work around them to achieve the goal.

It might be perfectly legal, but is it ethical and moral?

You’re spitting out all this information that I didn’t ask for, please just put a cork in it. 

Instead of making that tough decision, you let it slide with the hope it’ll take care of itself.  It won’t.  But you could continue to hide in your delusions if you’d like.

It’s just a song, it’s not a statement of our reality.

I don’t care what injustice you think happened to you.  I still have to send you someplace else where someone might actually be able to help you or perhaps care.

I slept like a baby and now I have to change the sheets.

It’s said; “it’s easier to never mind what I never knew”, but if I knew it, would I mind it?

What’s the best labor saving device?  Hiring someone else to do it.

They managed to talk themselves out of a successful career, so by all means, let’s just follow them over that cliff.

If my whole life is based around the next time I can go back to bed, is that good?  Maybe go to my Cabin In The Woods to reenergize?

I always knew you were going to fuck up and now you have finally shown us to what extent.

Is being woke really a thing or is it something someone made up and then others jumped onto the bandwagon?  I know I really don’t understand the concept, but it seems to be another lame excuse to divide.  No one opinion is 100% correct and all others just wrong. 

Sounds like something they’d do if they were nasty.

They know so little and understand even less.

If you have to lie to make your argument seem true or believable, then know you’re full of shit.

They ask one thing of us and then require an entirely different thing and are then surprised when we don’t have it.
