I was in the hospital recently with my very inconsiderate roommate.  They got all upset when the hospital shut off the TV at midnight so the rest of us could get some sleep and end their mindlessly watching hour after hour after hour of Family Feud.  I wish to thank the hospital for doing that. 

Though please let your staff know that’s a thing, so the aide on duty doesn’t s spend the next 45 minutes trying to figure out why it stopped working and even paging someone in the TV department to call them.  At first I didn’t understand why another aide gave me ear plugs, it soon became apparent.
