I was in a part of Ireland where the sheep roam free range and cause Irish traffic jams.  While on a bus tour we noticed that a lot of the sheep had color on their hind quarters.  So we inquired of the bus driver as to why?  Apparently it was mating season and the farmers would attach bags of die on the Rams and when they rammed a female it would break and then they would be able to tell which Ram stuck their ram in which female.  All I got to say is whatever Ram had the color red was very busy propagating the species.
