Someone I know use to own a beat up Astro van for work that he always left the keys in it, in the misguided belief that no one would ever want to steal it.  Well he didn’t take into consideration the drug addict who happened by looking for a ride.  They took his van and drove it to a local super market and proceeded to steal a cart worth of meat. So while my friend is making out his police report, another officer showed up at his house about the theft from the store.  Later that night the police happened upon the van a rockin & a rollin; finding the addict still in possession and entertaining a prostitute in the back.  While they found the van and the thief, the meat and my friends work tools were long gone.  My friend said he really cleaned the van well after he got it back and didn’t want to consider what might have occurred in it.
