On one ambulance call it was kind of cool what I saw at the hospital, not for the patient thou. The patient had fallen thru sliding glass doors and cut their arm open; that we proceeded to treat. At the hospital when the doctor was doing their exam the cut looked like a surgeon had peeled back the skin to see what was under it. The doctor was asking the patient to move their fingers and you could see all the tendons/muscles moving as they did so. At the time I was taking an anatomy and physiology class in college, it put that material into a whole new perspective that you didn’t get from dissecting cats.
