Had a client call a coworker, they put diesel into their gas powered rental car and were wondering if the “collision” coverage would handle that? Not unless you drove into the pumps with the car. Besides, how’d you get it into the tank? Diesel nozzles are purposely made bigger than gas nozzles so they don’t fit into the hole and so you don’t do this. Wasn’t there diesel spilling all over the place? They were lucky the rental company only charged them $500 to fix the problem. If the nozzle doesn’t fit, then don’t commit!
