Is this statement controversial? “Organized religion is for people who need help and direction in their lives when it comes to their faith.” I believe there is nothing wrong with this, many people benefit from it. There have been times where I’ve needed help and direction; I just have never found it in organized religion. This kind of organized faith has never seemed to work for me. I believe in God, but going to church has always struck me as a waste of time and I like to sleep in on Sundays. I have faith; I just don’t have the need to share it with other people. To me faith is a private thing. I show my faith by just helping people through The Quiet Hand, I’m not looking for recognition of my actions, and it’s how I express my faith, just by helping.

By posting this, just how many people will I piss off? Lately people don’t like opinions about religion, especially if it doesn’t match their own. Not that anyone reads my blog; I’m just the Would Be Hermit after all. But I do have a comment section though.
