I got an email from my spouse the other day. In the subject line was just one word “idiot”. Not a good word, especially in the subject line of an email. Of course I know this word isn’t used between us on a “regular basis”. But yet here it was, “idiot”. What did I do or not do to illicit use of this word? My mind was racing. Plus did I really want an answer to the question? Did I want to open this email? Or did I just want to ignore it and hope it would go away? But if they had taken the time to write this email, instead of just talking to me about their concerns, how much trouble could I really be in. So I took the plunge and read it. Turns out they just wanted me to check out the car since one of the “idiot” lights had turned on. So much stress over nothing, I feel like such an “idiot”.

This light came on recently in my mini van and it cost me $6200 for a new engine!
