Answer me this; is the following an example of good parenting? I had a call the other day from a mother that was planning on taking her daughter on a trip to a certain country in Central American. When her ex-husband (who is battling for custody) found out, he convinced his daughter that ISIS had taken over the country her mother was taking her too. She was so frightened by this prospect that she refused to go. Should the father have terrorized this child with this lie just to get back at his ex? I personally don’t think so, but some people get so consumed with vengeance that they don’t see the damage their actions cause. One day this girl is going to realize that daddy lied to her, then how is that going to affect their relationship? All this to get back at the ex.
