Is being out of it the same as being out?

I can’t let the stupidity of others affect the way I get my work done. 

It’s just one of those days that I want to crawl back into bed and hide from the world.

I recall once watching a neighbor back his car into their backyard with the driver door open.  They were looking to where they were backing to and not paying attention to the corner of the house and the open door as they came into contact with each other and ripped the door off the car.  Not a proud moment, but funny just the same.

They don’t need go to college to be able to understand advanced concepts.  There are people who actually went and wouldn’t understand it.  Some people are just gifted in their ability to comprehend without a formal education.

They’ll live, maybe.

Are they the best or worst on the planet or just mediocre?  I have no idea but they are all we have to work with, so we will.

What it was, is over, what it will become, beyond the pain, no one knows.

When someone you love leaves and you know they won’t be able to come back for a long time, it makes it even harder to find someone else, because you’re afraid they will leave to and you’re alone again. 

I’ll treat you as an intelligent person until you prove me wrong.

You don’t listen, they didn’t listen and I don’t want to hear about either of you not listening! So off to my Cabin In The Woods to ignore you.

Do you know what my children did with their sports participation trophies once they got older?  They threw them out because they came to understand that the concept of getting a trophy for just showing up has no meaning for them or to life in general.

I know nothing, but I know it better than you do.

All you had to do was wait your turn, but you’re too impatient and selfish to do that so know you’ve really fucked it up.

We strive to offer the best service ever, we’ll never get there, but we do strive for it. 

No matter how much you want it, both sides can’t win.

I don’t know where you are and sadly I’m not too concerned about that.

Ever consider it’s easier to take a shit walking around the woods than it is to take a shit walking around New York City? 

I’m smart enough to understand it, but not smart enough to replicate it.  Something to consider at my Cabin In The Woods. 

They were state of the art at one time, but now they’re the state of decline.

People don’t fight against something they feel benefits them.  They only fight against it when they feel it no longer benefits them or there is a threat their perceived rights.

They may be highly trained in their field, but yet they still suck at it. 

You don’t make public jokes about things you’re trying to hide or deny.

I don’t make the rules, but I do believe there can be exceptions to them. 

You can’t ask random questions of an AI, yet.  That’s why I prefer to speak to a live person.

My youngest says I’m a boring father, which is ok with them, because they know I’m here for them as opposed to children whose fathers are not.

It’s easy to sound smart when you have all the answers written out in front of you. 

People want to hear what stupid has to say and it’s just a sad reality that they relate.

They’re trying desperately to hang onto whatever they had, not me, I never had it to begin with.

Often individuals with an extremely difficult job are criticize by others who think their incompetent and brag they can do a better job.  It’s just that, they can’t.  I once heard someone say, “A monkey can do a better job than them”, while that might be true, but, you’d still suck at it.

They scream as the other is walking away, “I’m not done talking to you!”  Their response is “Perhaps so, but I’m done listening.”

I’m not cheap, I’m frugal. 

Why don’t you listen to what I’m saying instead of listening to your urge to get out of doing any meaningful  work.

I can do anything that I don’t wanna do!   Like go to my Cabin In The Woods.

They’re quick to point out other peoples flaws, but if they actually looked into a mirror, it would shatter.

You thank me for letting you know, but, I didn’t tell you anything, so I don’t know what you know or what I’m being thanked for?

It has a new look, but it’s really the same old crap as before.

You may think that you’re God’s gift to this world, but we’re actually looking for the receipt, for we plan on returning you as defective.

Of course there are people that I want to  see, it’s just that you an’t one of them.

If you can’t see them for who they are, it’s probably because you’re just like them or wish you were.

A lot of people don’t have much experience living with minorities and unfortunately find it easier to believe the stereotypes taught to them about these groups instead of actually interacting with them and discovering all they have to offer the world. 

When one fly’s solo for so long, it’s hard to integrate into a group.  So I might as well stay at my Cabin In The Woods then.

Usually I’m ready, but mostly, I’m not.

If you’re one that counts their steps daily and you hit your 10,000^th step for the day while retrieving ice cream, does that count?  Or is 500 steps deducted?  Just wondering.

Has it ever occurred to you that no matter which side you say you’re on, we’re all being lied to? 

The inability to compromise leads to an inability to grow as a person or as a society. 

Don’t pick an ideology, pick yourself. 

Can you be held responsible for buying into what a charlatan is selling? 

It’s a major tragedy that those who chose to listen to and then put their trust in liars, often pay the ultimate price for doing so and who is then held accountable, besides them?

You can find what you’re looking for on the internet that will confirm what you want to hear, all the while disregarding all the other information that contradicts what you want to believe, or Confirmation Bias.  Better known as lazy research.
