They decided to ignore the problem and let it become someone else’s problem, because that’s what humans do.  Hence the purpose of my Cabin In The Woods.

Shortsighted people don’t get long term consequences.

Someone who fails to grow is someone who keeps making stupid decisions and then being surprised by the outcome.  Then they turn around and do it again.

I’ve been searching for purpose/meaning in my life when one day it occurred to me that being a parent was it.  I/Spouse raised 3 children who are independent and know what they want out of life and are not waiting for us to give them a handout.

It’s hard to make a pile of shit smell like something other than, well,  a pile of shit.

Thinking about it, is not the same as actually doing it.

Some people are just doers, not thinkers and in there lies the problem.

People in positions that they don’t belong in are very annoying when you try to explain a simple request that they should know, but don’t.

It’s a perfect example if incompetence is allowed to run wild and how it can really mucks things up.

I caught myself walking around with my zipper down, again, isn’t that a sign of high intelligence?

It’s (not) funny when the majority wants to be heard.

There’s always some asshole who’ll enforce stupid ideas for the feeling of importance and power.

The best kind of work meeting is the one you’re not invited to.

There’s constructive criticism and then there’s what they’re doing and there’s nothing constructive about it.

You’re all about show, not about substance.

There’s getting drunk and then there’s getting drunk on an idea.  While both are intoxicating, the one thing they have in common is that neither one in the end turns out to be good for you. 

They rate an idiot because they grab onto something, no matter how preposterous and wrong.  They then keep pushing it as if it’s a fact.  Thusly ignoring the reality of what the information really means.

Some people would rather play the game than think about the consequences of that game. 

If you go through life thinking everything is flat, the bumps are really going to jar you.

It doesn’t matter that somebody has a different world view than you.  It’s doesn’t matter if you think it’s right or wrong.  All that matters is that it’s their own view and it’s not up to you to change it.

You all had fantasies about what this person was going to do for you.  Now there’s the reality of what they are actually doing and now buyer’s remorse is sinking in, for you’re getting shit.
