Today’s Non Problem

A patient with a latex allergy entered one of our facilities the other day for treatment when they notice the clipboard where you sign in had a rubber band attaching the pen to the clip board, that may or may not have been made of latex.  The patient went right to latex and instead of asking the staff to sign them in they left in a huff.  They then called the main office to complain about us not running a latex free office.  They also stated that this is a ADA violation, not, so please file a complaint, I want to hear the laughter, after all, reasonable accommodations, not stupid.  This all could have been corrected simply by asking the staff to sign them in.  They also believe we denied them care, really?  I wish all the world’s problems were this simple.  (Is This What Is Meant By A Rant?)
